This timer is now the queen of my gadgets. Looks great, works great and I absolutely love the fact that it has a strong magnet at the back. Sticking it on my fridge keeps it out of harms and dirt's way. Very recommendable.

Good quality, works well, but the bell is a bit soft. You need to carry it around with you to ensure that you hear it when it goes off. Make sure you read the operating instructions.

Strong magnet, works well. Only complaint is that after two years it's packed up. The bell to indicate that time is up no longer works. Will order another because it's handy to put on my fridge and has a nice design.

The timer will ring only every third time, the sound is so soft that you can hardly hear it. Very disappointed.

Fun timer, looks good on the fridge.
Glass came loose after a couple of days, but everybody had been 'having a go'; clicked back on, and it still works so far...

A sweet looking timer with a magnet on the back - so you can pop it on the fridge. It's solid, works well and has a sweet ring - like a bicycle bell.

It is an amazing tool to have in the kitchen. It works perfectly well and with the magnet it sticks easily on the fridge and it also looks very good.

The ping is very soft and easy to miss and when you need to boil an egg or time anything under 5 minutes it doesn't always work. It is not clear and precise enough for me.

Love it. Not great for times less than 5 minutes (does work for less than 5, but just saying), but overall a great purchase. So nice not fumbling for phone to set timer with greasy/foodie fingers (or having someone reset the timer on microwave because they want to use it to cook something)

Remember you need to wind this up to 55 minutes and then set it to the time you need. Needed an analog timer, this also seems quicker and easier to set than digital. Feels solid. Ring is just disappointing, like 3 seconds and a bit quiet.

I started off with one timer and now have three beautiful, retro timers stuck on my fridge. I enjoy using them, they work well, they look nice and I like the retro design and colours. I know my phone has a timer but I don’t want to be constantly tied to my cellphone.

Absolutely love the timer! Strong magnet for the fridge and looks great. Don't buy it if you want to time less than 5 minutes; the timer counts off the time but does not ring. Only buy for longer than 5 minutes timing, then it works perfectly.

Love this timer. Its positive feel when turning the dial. Its gentle countdown and funky mint green colour. The fact that I don't have to buy batteries, a bonus. A wonderful addition to my kitchen.

Because this timer does not make a sound when the time is up, it was a disappointment. I need a timer that calls me to the kitchen from my home-office down the passage.

Two duds in a row.

Avoid. This is the second timer of my order, after the first non-working one was replaced in quick time by Yuppiechef.

Two days after receiving the replacement one, it's stopped working too.

Sadly, I threw away the packaging, so cannot return it.

I'd say avoid Zassenhaus products altogether. They seem to specialise in good-looking products with rubbish mechanics. I have a clock of theirs too, and while it looks good, its thudding tick makes me think a tap's always leaking in my kitchen. Read more
