Wusthof In-Drawer Knife Organiser for 7 Knives — Variant: Holds 7 Knives

I am very fussy about my knives and how they are stored, so when I saw this I was thrilled. It is a great space saver and stores the knives so that their blades are kept free from damage.

If you are a 'no clutter on the worktop' person like me, this perfectly solves the problem of looking after my knives with no need for a knife block on display. Good quality.

Protects your knives and you

The best thing about this knife holder is how it hides the blades of even the biggest knives - my Wusthof 23cm chef's knife is safely cradled in this. The slots are deep enough to hold some oddly-shaped cheese knives also.

The only problem is that the slant of the slots for smaller knives means they slide to the back, so I would say you can use those slots for knives with blades of around 12cm-12.5cm; any longer and the tips stick out the back. Read more

This is a well-made item, using lovely timber - and it does the basic job. The main problem for me is that, for quite a small number of knives, it takes up a lot of drawer space. If you have lots of the latter, then fine... I think a knife block or magnetic wall strip would have been a better bet for my kitchen.

I don't own Wusthof knives (yet) but I do need to organise my existing knives, and this product does a great job of in-drawer knife organising. Pretty to boot too.

I have the large knife organiser and when my daughter went to varsity I bought the smaller one for her res room. It’s perfect as it keeps her knives safe and prevents her from cutting herself and it’s compact so there is still space in the small drawer for a compact cutlery organiser.
