The Cooksister Bacon Jam, 300g

Not any better than other onions marmales / jams at all - and way sweeter than it should be! Also, defintely not enough bacon - wouldn't know there was any, if you didn't tell me. So, I would just stick to other 'plain' onion jams that also cost less than half the price.

Bought this as a Christmas gift, and one jar for myself. This is one of those "just one more bite" condiments - something different and tasty. An interesting mix of sweet, salt and tangy. Goes very well with rice crackers at New Years' :)

Has a lovely onion/garlic flavour, but very subtle bacon flavour - would have loved a bit more "baconey". But lovely condiment and in a sandwich.

The most delicious experience! I have tried multiple bacon jams and this beats them all by far! Incredibly tasty and the perfect addition to any meal. You won't be sorry!

Hard to spread as the bacon is stringy not in little cubes and little specks of fat. It tastes goods but I would have preferred a different consistency. Will not buy it again.

It does not have a jam consistency at all. better served hot because as you open it the sugar has crystallized. The taste: amazing, like caramelized onions with chopped bacon in a sweet sauce .....an absolute MUST buy!!! Eat on a bread roll with some lettuce, cheese...cold meat etc.

Definitely NOT for diabetics.

I bought this for my brother. He loves bacon, and also loved the jam. It tastes like onion marmelade, with bacon pieces. Lovely with breakfast.

The jam was nice but really average. The product was really hyped up so I had high expectations. This version was very sweet and had minimal bacon. I think the Woolworths onion marmalade is much better (even without the bacon).

It's too sweet, more onions than bacon, and you can clearly taste the added smoke flavour. Not a fan. I've had better bacon jam bought elsewhere. I will not buy it again.

Bought this out of curiosity as I had never heard of bacon jam. I didn't have high hopes as it sounded like a strange concept but WOW was I wrong. This is amazing and truly captures the essence of bacon. The only comment would be that it is more like a smoother chutney than jam but still a 10/10. Wish the jar was bigger because this did not last long in my household. It went on toast, sandwiches and even found itself as filling in stuffed chicken breasts. Would definitely recommend it. I am one of those people who consider bacon as a whole, separate food group on its own.

If you like bacon, you will love this! It truly is good on everything and anything!

I've tried some Salticrax, some sweet chilli garlic bread... I even tried with some Kassler chops, because why not?

This jam didn’t work for me – would have preferred something a bit more smokier like smoked bacon?

It tasted sweet as a jam should be but think the bacon bit threw me. Nice presentation though.

Although I am a fan of the cooksister range (chefs salt pot in particular) this product wont be on my ‘buy’ list.
