This cake lifter completely changes my kitchen acrobatics when I need to lift, move or transfer a cake!

I purchased this item so that I could get my bread loaves out of the oven with ease. I tried it out first time on a heavy New York style cheese cake and it lifted the cake off the bottom of the pan with ease, and it made it easier for me to place the cake onto the server than had I tried to do it by hand. I think this is going to be of great use in my kitchen.

The product displayed well in the advert but was a sore disappointment when it arrived. The lifter is flimsy and bends when lifting a cake. The rivets that secure the plate to the handle are loose.
