About LK's
LK’s began in 1989 when Lourens Kriel came home with a braai tong and decided there and then that he could produce one at half the price. Jumping to work the next day with his son, Johan Kriel, they manufactured the tooling first and then their own tong and tested it the same evening. From a garage to a Wendy house and now a factory in Blackheath, LK’s continues to produce high quality, local products for practical and inventive cooking solutions for an all-round enjoyable braai experience.

Care instructions
- Add a few drops of mild dish soap to warm water
- Dip a soft cloth into the soapy water and squeeze out excess water
- Wipe the in- and outside of your biltong maker with the damp cloth
- Dry thoroughly with a soft dry cloth or paper towels
- Do not use any solvent or abrasive cleaning products
- Do not use any hard cloths or sponges
- Do not let any water into the electric fan

Great for larger batches of meat.
The LK Biltong maker is great for larger batches of meat and the stainless steel finish looks great! I just made 4kg of Biltong (up to 6kg each batch is recommended) and filling the machine and cleaning are a breeze. It is quite large so you do need space for it (don't think it will simply fit on your kitchen counter). I do find the fan louder than expected but it does seem like a qualit Read more

Worth the Tom!
Well made, solid and worth the money. It's a lot bigger than I expected. Fan is a bit loud, hence the 4 stars and not 5. Would buy again.

Whohoo
Hectic nice, got almost 6kg of dry wors going! It's such a nice looking beast, wanted to put it in my braai room, but the noise level is way to high, a bit bummed about that, eish!
