If you like your coffee fresh and full of flavour, you'll be on the hunt for a great burr grinder. A burr grinder has two conical burrs which fit inside one another. The space between them determines the granularity of the resulting ground coffee - closer together will result in a finer grind, whereas moving them apart results in a coarse grind.

Great grinder for home use
Although pricey, it works as advertised!

User friendly but Chinese motor
Very user friendly, but unfortunately only the design is German and the Chinese motor burnt out after 4 years' of normal/minimal use (99% of the time used for only 1-2 cups of coffee, i.e. never continuously grinding an entire bag).
I would not recommend this product to a friend.
