The S and P plate enables any mill to be either a salt or pepper grinder and can be easily differentiated as and when necessary. The solution focuses on being a hidden feature until it is needed.

• The magnetic plate sits above a circular magnet housed in plastic
• The small diameter of the magnet means that when you push on any edge of the plate it is simple to tilt and flip the plate to reveal either the engraved S or P
• The fact that the plate doesn’t come into direct contact with the magnet means that it is a user friendly but secure force holding it in place
• There’s also a much lower risk of scratching the magnetic plate as it only touches the plastic housing around the magnet
