Great gift for wine lovers
I bought this as a Christmas gift for a family member who fancies herself as a bit of a wine expert. Told her she could now take a decent wine glass with her, wherever she goes! Great price point for such a premium brand like Riedel.

The concept is great .. but!
The concept is great however the glass is for some or other reason not as sturdy as what I would have hoped for. I bought 2 glasses and my wife's had a crack within 24 hours despite not dropping it or handling it roughly.

Wonderful wonderful glasses - classy sophistication....
Wonderful wonderful glasses - fine glass with such a beautiful shape.... it just breathes classy sophistication (excuse the pun!) :)
And the surprisingly robust, very light container makes it totally practical to take it with you wherever you go (which we pretty much do! - fishing, camping etc etc etc...) and makes such a great gift. SUCH a very good buy all round!

Very nice
Sure, it's pricey for 1 glass, but I love Riedel glassware and I'm happy with this purchase.
I use it at home regularly and intend to take it on my next camping trip.
The box is 'just' cardboard, but it's very thick and should survive if you look after it.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
