Awesome measuring jug!
Item reviewed: 750ml
Review by Susan B. on 23 September 2014, 12 days after purchase
Simple and functional - this is a great measuring jug! 750ml is a generous size and measurement markings in 10ml increments make it very versatile for precise measuring. (Also has measurement markings for various dry ingredients). It doesn't make a mess while pouring. I should have bought two of these - it is already becoming a kitchen essential for me :-)
PS. the authentic "lab beaker" look has just the right amount of geek appeal too! Read more

This may sound strange but I have a very active imagination - some may say it’s over active! But buying this lab beaker was the best decision I made! Now I along with my 5year old niece measure random ingredients whilst pretending to be mad scientists... Most of our experiments are very edible! All the different measurements are very helpful! Liquids/solids makes measurements so easy! No more guess work! I plan on buying more of these! Absolutely love them! Read more

I love the precise measures, BUT I have now lost a 500ml and 250 ml that fractured spontaneously for no apparent reason.

This cup is ideal for all my water measuring around the house. A great add-on would be if it had a handle for hot water.

A retro approach to measurement beakers. People always comment with delight at the sight of these standing around the kitchen.

Love these measuring jugs. They are dishwasher friendly and the little measuring marks don't fade. Look as good as new after many washes.

Great product! Currently, I use it to make stock because boiling water will not crack the glass! I also warm water and milk in the microwave using this! Awesome.

This is 100% personal preference but I am in love with these measuring jugs. I tend to hate the classic thick Pyrex ones because they are so thick. These just feel so lovely to work with. Now I need to add, they don't have handles and are thin so you are limited to what you use them for, obviously boiling water will burn you if you don't handle it with some kind of protection — this is where the classic thick one with a handle is just needed. However, with all that said, these ones will still be my favourite. Read more

This little beaker is indispensable for measuring small quantities, whipping up an egg or a salad dressing. And its heatproof and incredibly robust.

A good purchase. Just make note of what you are measuring so that you look at the correct line indications.
It is always best to measure dry goods by weight as altitude and humidity affect the weight but otherwise a perfect measuring jug/beaker.

Very fragile.

I bought 4 of these. They are beautifully made and look like up-market laboratory equipment, perfect for exhibiting.
Not so perfect in the kitchen, they all developed cracks after a short period of usage.
They were still usable, but the cracks looked unsightly and I suspected that the beakers could eventually break up into dangerous shards.

Although it feels delicate, it is actually tough. It has been used in the microwave and the dishwasher. Ideal for heating up small amounts of liquid.
