OXO Good Grips Silicone Egg Poachers

With this item I don't have to twirl the water and wait for the perfectly timed "drop".
Just fill the pot with water up to the mark. Wait till it boils and add the eggs (best when prepped in another container). These pockets can easily hold 2 eggs in each, making it easy to poach 4 at the same time. Only trouble was that once or twice the silicone holder floated to the top, but did not destroy the integrity of the egg. Remember to add some white vinegar to the water when poaching.

The poached eggs don't come out like I know a traditional poached egg to look like. It does the job, but definitely what I was expecting.

Worked like a charm. Takes all the technique out of making a poached egg and allows even first timers to get perfectly poached eggs every time. Managed to make 2 eggs in each pod, just waited 30 seconds before adding the second one in

I did a lot of research on different brands of egg poachers. This one had the best reviews, and I decided to buy it. The eggs came out perfect since the first try. I am impressed, and will definitely recommend. It's easy and hassle-free.

I was hesitant to buy this product because I thought it would involve many steps and that technique would be important. I was previously poaching my eggs without any tools, doing the water swirl thing and picking up the pieces from the flurries etc. This was so easy to use, just like the simple instructions that came with it. Also no need to use the freshest eggs to minimise flurries. I did two eggs at a time and they came out perfect! Round and thick egg whites. Highly recommend! Read more

I bought the Egg poachers to simplify making poached eggs but they don't work at all. I've tried boiling water, hot water and swirling the water. I wouldn't recommend purchasing these.

It is well made and looks easy to use at first, but it just doesn't work. They move around and the eggs go everywhere. Won't use again unfortunately.
