This machine is compact and sturdy. It is simple to use and performs its duties effortlessly. Furthermore there are no complications with regards to replacing blades and figuring out how these work. There is one additional blade which is housed at the side of the machine. Easy to operate and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend! I am very happy with my buy. Good value for money.

Incredibly sharp. Reduces a tomato to wafer thin slices in a few slices. The waffle cut doesn’t work that well but to me that’s a bit of a gimmick so I won’t penalize it for that. Also trivial to clean.

This slicer packs away very compactly, no loose blades getting lost. It has a big variety of settings or slices, and will be able to do every slice I will ever need. I really appreciate the safety features and do not expect any accidental finger cuts. I love my OXO Good Grip Chef's Mandoline slicer 2.0 and will recommend it to everybody.

I have found using the Julienne and French fry blades, the carrots and potatoes are not cutting completely through. I still have to separate the vegetables with a knife.

Watching the videos on using this device made it look easy. Chopping cucumber for example was quite straight forward. Chopping carrots julienne style was quite tedious. I thought it would be a good investment for preparing food based on the comments and videos I have watched before purchasing it, but I was wrong. Perhaps just invest in a good quality knife.

I absolutely LOVE my mandolin, we are a family of vegetarians and eat tons of salad etc and this is truly a game changer when it comes to prep time.

Poke bowls are a breeze too - it really makes life so much easier. I also bought a non-cut glove which is great and enables you to cut or slice veg all the way to the end without losing a finger.

The mandoline worked very well in the beginning, but just over a year later it won't lift the second set of teeth, so no more julienning.

We've only used it about 5 times.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

I was super excited when my husband bought the mandoline for me for Xmas. The food holder is a problem though. It's spring loaded and I cannot get a tomato or cucumber to grip as the springload is very strong and just pushes the vegetable out. I'm too scared to cut without the food holder as the blades are very sharp. This item was bought specifically to cut vegetables for salads.
