Washing salad leaves is easy, but drying it so that dressing can stick to it is another story. Enter the salad spinner. Designed to whip moisture from a variety of fruit and veggies, simply wash in the colander basket, pop it into the spinner and top with the lid. Push the button on top to spin water from the basket into the bowl, and stop with the built-in brake.

I did feel that this was expensive, but i really liked the design of the product & the simple mechanics of its operation. I have arthritis in my hands and was thinking ahead. The pump action is far superior and easier for me, when compared to using the lid handle to spin. I would highly recommend this product

I previously bought the smaller version of the Oxo salad spinner, and am also pleased with this one - a very effective and big-sized spinner. Easy to use and clean and makes a handsome salad bowl on the table. If storage space is a limitation then the smaller one would be fine for small amounts of leaves, but this one does both small and large quantities equally well.

As far as salad spinners go it is really pricey, but it is good quality and much larger than most. Had one before (after 10 years, it did not work 100%) and replaced it with an identical product based on my previous experience.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

I had the small Oxo salad spinner - the small size is good for a single person or couple. This bigger size is better for a family. I love this salad spinner, I use it almost daily, it’s so easy to use, convenient, easy to clean, and spins leaves sufficiently.

With all the good reviews, I expected more... the spinner is lovely in the sense that you just push the button.

But it doesn't dry my lettuce as well as my previous salad spinner. I still have to dry it with a paper towel before I can use it, and that is after letting it spin 10 times.
