After years of battling with cheap can-openers, I can definitely recommend this one. With its super-quick, smooth gliding action, it is a real bonus in the kitchen.

Best ever can opener

Most wonderful can opener I have ever used! This is after three months of regular usage! No more breaking wrist opening cans. Definitely good grips! Easy to turn the handle. I was dubious to begin with because of so many useless openers over the last ten years. Buy one. You won't go wrong.

Lefty's and can openers (along with scissors) do not usually make for a happy pair, but this can opener has changed all that. Super easy to use, no struggling with "right weighted-ness", it opens wide and is a general dream. Super happy with this purchase!

Oxo really is getting the best rep with me. These are great, I also own the Good Grips Smooth Edge Can Opener which I love but can't be used on all jars and is a bit higher grade for some visitors to use LOL. This simple opener is extremely solid - I like!

This can opener is brilliant. After struggling with can openers for years I have finally found one that works. It turns smoothly and easily with little pressure needed. Very easy on the thumb joint. Would recommend for anyone who has difficulty with a regular can opener.

This is the fifth or sixth Oxo product I've bought in the last few years. As with most of their products, it's solid and heavy. The action is smooth and almost effortless. It's quite pricey but worth it.

I gifted my 85 year old mum with this can opener as she's battling with arthritic hands. She is in total awe at how easy it is to open cans and how gentle it is to use with her hands.
She no longer struggles and her hands do not take any strain. A very smooth operation when using the Oxo Can Opener.

I had an older version of this item that eventually broke after a good 10 years of service. Happy to replace it with the same. Some really small cans slip off with the new one that I never had happen with my original one; hoping it's not the product itself and rather something different in the cans themselves.

A very easy click-on and cut into the tin. Then a smooth and easy turn of the handle to remove the lid.

This tin opener doesn't open all the way, the last little bit has to be pried open.
I was hoping it would do the trick as I still haven't found one that opens a tin easily!
