• The wine is paired with a specific cooper from France, to achieve complexity and balance, while still highlighting the integrity of the terroir
• The Sauvignon Blanc comes from a small portion of Nova Zonnestraal's only East-facing block, grown in decomposed granite and clay soil, which produces a linear style of wine tasting primarily of black currant leaf, elderflower and grapefruit
• The Semillon, grown on rich shale soils and left till late in the season to maximise the ripeness, adds a rich mouthfeel to the wine, and flavours of white peach
