Spike ring no longer fits after one use
The board has a nice feel and looks good, but after washing it once in the sink, the wood has contracted and the spike ring no longer fits in its place. As another reviewer pointed also difficult to clean easily. Would suggest looking for another board.

Great carving board but difficult to clean
This is a nice solid carving board although I find it very difficult to clean especially in the holes that the metal ring is stored in. They are very fiddly to wash and unless you wash with a bit of bleach and make sure that it is completely dry before you put it away it grows mould very quickly. I now use a chopstick with some kitchen towel to dry the holes!
I would not recommend this product to a friend.

I use this board all the time. The quality is world class. It’s easy to clean and provides plenty of quality space to work on. It looks stunning... The best board out there.
