I bought this zester plus a ribbon grater in the same range. Honestly, it's life-changing. I am grating and zesting all that comes my way in the kitchen. I also love the wooden handle - for an artisanal feel.

If the house was on fire, I'd go back into the flames to fetch my Microplanes :-)

This is the third Microplane I have bought, the most recent as a gift because anyone who sees them oohs and aahs about what a game-changer they are. From zesting lemons (whoever thought it could be so easy... and it is the glühwein time of the year) to grating Parmesan cheese into a light fluffiness it is without equal. Buy one (or two) — you will not regret it.
