Mepal Campus Pop-Up Bottle, 400ml — Colour: Food Fest

This is a really great water bottle. I did have some concerns about it being white and plastic, but after 3 months of intensive use, no scratches, no leakage and no stains, it still looks pristine. So easy to use even for small hands. My child loves it!

I love this bottle! It has survived sensory seeking chewing, a few hard falls, and is easy for my kids to open and close. When it’s closed, it doesn’t leak at all! We have probably tried 15 different brands over the years and this one comes out tops. The only thing is that you can disassemble it more than they recommend (with a bit of force) and I am glad I did as it can grow mold inside if you don’t. We take the bottles completely apart almost every day and pop them in the dishwasher, haven’t had a problem after almost a year :) Read more

I recently purchased this bottle for my 4-year-old and am very disappointed with it. The bottle is advertised as leak-proof, this information is false as it does exactly the opposite! The leakage takes place directly after popping the “spout” back down, while the bottle is tilted or turned upside down.

My kids love these bottles. The designs are vibrant. And the button pop up keeps it sanitary. I love that it's easy to clean and the design does not wash off. The colours stay vibrant wash after wash. And it doesn't leak!

My kids are 4yo and 6yo, so it's safe to say water bottles are essential in our house. I prioritise quality over quantity, so I am always willing to pay a premium price for a good quality product. I had eyed the Mepal water bottles for some time, and when I had the chance I bought two - the pink one with Cheetas and the minty one with ducks.

I used Mepal products before and never had an issue - in fact, we have had their lunch boxes for almost 3 years now and they are still in perfect condition. So you can imagine my disappointment now, 4 months after purchasing the Mepal water bottles, seeing how poor their quality is.

The pink colour of the Cheetas bottles has come off completely, it's white now. I wish I could attach a photo to show you. I don't even know how that happens... we wash them manually (despite them being dishwasher friendly) and we never use a rough sponge. The other bottle, the minty one with the ducks, lost its colour on the cap. Both bottles are full of scratches.

As I said, I am surprised by this poor result given our good experience with the lunch boxes - but it is what it is. The only good thing about these bottles is that you can disassemble the caps completely, allowing for a good deep wash of each piece (other bottles on the market do not allow that, and it's gross!). I had purchased two of these bottles, having only read wonderful things about the quality of Mepal. Unfortunately, within 2 months of being used, I needed to replace them as the pop up button stopped working on both, so the kids cannot use them — disappointed to say the least. I had put them away in the back of the cupboard, but came across them again today — hoping the pop up would work! Unfortunately not. Read more

My 4-year-old loves this bottle, especially the pop-up function. If the bottle is too full, the nozzle can pop up by itself, but this can easily be prevented by not overfilling it. I'd buy it again.

A lot of bottles claim to be leakproof, this one is truly leak proof. I thought my 3-year-old would struggle opening and closing the bottle but she does it with ease. Definitely getting another one soon!

A great bottle. Please note that it's not insulated and ours isn't 100% leak proof (we get a few tiny dribbles out the top sippy bit if left open).

Aside from that, for this price it's excellent quality and an adorable design. It's also very easy to clean, unlike other straw bottles that have hidden nooks and crannies for the notorious black sludge to accumulate in. This bottle is easy enough to dismantle and put back together after a thorough clean.
