Mepal Large Bento Lunch Box — Colour: Nordic Black

This container is really useful and I loved the layout and functionality. Unfortunately, the clips sealing the lid broke within a few months.

The quality of the product seemed great, but isn’t. I wouldn’t purchase Mepal products again.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

This lunchbox is great for kids. It fits in a variety of snacks, and includes a handy small fork. I can get in a sandwich (cut into quarters; crusts removed), apple, muffin and I use the small container for nuts and biltong.

To fit in a full sandwich, you would need to remove one of the inserts.

No worrying about spills or food getting mixed. My kids love it.

Great size, love the compartments and the little fork that comes with it.

It would be fab if there was a little spoon as well but overall the best lunchbox I have bought and also no leaks!

I've tried a lot of different lunch boxes, but this is the ONE! It fits everything inside. So so spacious making life so easy. My daughter absolutely loves it. Plus it fits in the normal standard-size lunch box bag. I'm never looking back again!

Excellent lunch box, I use it with the Mepal To Go Icepack. The included, removable, container with the flexible lid is especially useful for more liquid foods (like yoghurt).

The Mepal large bento box is a great lunch box with space for numerous options without mixing food or it leaking.

Good quality and easy to open. You can add/remove containers to fit your needs for that day.

I love these lunchboxes, but this one leaked.

I'm not sure why this one leaked on the first day I used it. None of the Mepal items I have ever bought have leaked so I really don't know why this one was different — maybe it was just this one. I'd still try it, but be cautious of using it with food with dressing/thin sauce.

I've wanted the Mepal bento lunchbox for a while now however, I was a little disappointed. For functionality, its a great lunchbox but this one had a dent and it was also stained. I took it back to the Yuppiechef for an exchange only to find that all of them had the same dent and stains. I'm inclined to believe it was a bad batch.

Such an amazing luncbox, my son absolutely loves it. It's big enough to fit his entire lunch, which works perfectly. Superb quality and its not heavy. I absolutely would recommend this product.
