Coffee tastes better in this cup

Ordered this and the "strawberry thief blue" version as they were amongst the largest in terms of volume with 420ml capacity with gorgeous patterns. The added bonus is that for some reason the (instant) coffee tastes better in the narrower cup.

SIDE NOTE: Yuppiechef please consider adding volume as a search option - not just for mugs but glasses, dishes, bowls etc.

If you enjoy a large cup then this is for you. It's a big 420ml cup that manages to look stylish instead of looking like a bucket. It's not delicate china (so retains warmth) but it's also not inelegantly hefty.

I bought 3 mugs with the plan to use them as stocking fillers at Christmas. But unfortunately, I wasn't strong enough to resist and they now get used on a daily basis. So pretty, they brighten any day.

They could be displayed in an art gallery! But they're not only beautiful, they're practical! They are dishwasher proof, keep the heat in longer and hold a generous amount of liquid. Buy them as gifts or just keep for yourself because you need to be surrounded by things beautiful! Read more

The product description ('elegant') made me think these would be more delicate items, and more in the tradition of those porcelain English tall cups. Perhaps also, William Morris's name being mentioned for each item also threw me off course ('inspired by' is the key phrase). So these are bigger, heavier, and hopefully more robust than what I had in mind from the photos. If you like a large mug these are for you. Although they are obviously factory-made, the print designs are beautiful. Read more
