This is the most affordable, good quality and simple pestle and mortar set I have seen. It is perfect for my starter kitchen and I am loving getting enthusiastic about cooking with utensils that didn't cost all my savings.

At the end of the month I just couldn't part with the amount for the fancier stone/marble products so opted for this little baby and was pleasantly surprised. It's sturdy and doesn't feel like it will break which I thought might be the case from the image. I was planning to have to replace it when I had the cash but honestly don't think that'll be necessary for a while...

I was looking for a small, light pestle & mortar to prepare quick rubs or crush spices for everyday meals. This is the perfect product for smaller quantities and is not cumbersome to use like many of the other marble or stone options.

Works beautifully, although the roughened ends take some scrubbing to clean afterwards - but managed to grind coffee beans I ordered by mistake instead of ground coffee.

I honestly do not know why I even considered buying one of those R500+ mortar and pestles - this one is just beautiful and works like an absolute bomb! Use it almost daily - easy to clean and looks very neat! LOVE this product.

I waited very long for the item to arrive, It is small but the size is perfect for a bit of garlic prep before cooking. When it finally arrived and I used it, it just cracked immediately.

So disappointed that I waited this long just for this to happen. Seems rather low quality...I guess it's expected for the price...Definitely too good to be true.
