Stainless Steel Potato Chipper

This product is disappointing. The suction pad is difficult to engage on the counter top. The frame is quite flexible when trying to push the potatoes through the chopping blades and the potatoes need to be pulled out of the chopping blades on the other side. Despite being advertised for cutting carrots julienne, this is very difficult because raw carrots are even harder than potatoes.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

The potato chipper slides around and cannot be suctioned onto the countertop. The blades are not sharp enough. I was hoping for a chipper to do sweet potato as well, which is harder than the average potato ...... won't waste my time with that and rather do by hand. Not worth the price.

This product is really worth the little bit extra it costs over a plastic version. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

This potato chipper works really well. It's nice and sturdy and grips onto the counter which makes the cutting process very easy. We will probably be eating chips more regularly now, which might not be the healthiest thing, but it's definitely worth it!

I like the two different sizes that can be cut (a smaller julliene / shoestring size would be really nice, but not essential). It is strong enough to cut carrots - in the length, like potatoes. The design is sturdy and attractive and it is intuitive to assemble and easy to clean.
