Magimix Le Mini Plus 1.7L Food Processor — Colour: Black

I’m a bit disappointed with this little Magimix. It’s the best I could afford, but after my previous powerful Cuisinart food processors, it simply doesn’t measure up, but honestly it doesn’t claim to, either. I bought it to make pesto, but it can’t chop macadamia nuts, nor, of course, almonds. Pine nuts, yes. As advertised, it’s small, but it can handle a 90g packet of basil, with a bit of extra time and side scraping.
It seems nicely made, and sliced small pieces of potato well. The feed tube is so small it’s not possible to slice rounds of potato, cucumber or onion, so visually food is less lovely.
If its small/weak specs suit you, I would recommend buying it, rather than a cheaper one. Read more

I’m still getting used to this machine. You can’t put too much into the big bowl, so you may need to do more than one batch.

I am a bit disappointed in the citrus press, it doesn’t easily get all the juice out, and I feel that the ridges on the cups aren’t big enough for the job. If I close the lid of the citrus press while pressing juice, the fruit just flies off, so I have had the lid open and I press directly on the fruit!

Great blades for grating and for slicing, and nice to have the small bowl for herbs. The motor is powerful and the machine doesn’t dance around the counter top, but stays still.

My Magimix is AMAZING! It makes the smoothest, creamiest nut butters and can do anything I need it to! The ideal accessory for Vegans or anyone who loves cooking everything from scratch!

I love my little Magimix. I am sorry I bought the little one and not the big one. It is easy to use once you get the hang of it. My juicer however is not working. I think there is a missing part. But further to that it looks beautiful in my kitchen.

Brilliant product. Great counter top size. Excellent quality. Only thing is the recipe book and manual have no English options. Written in 5 different languages but no English.

I had a 36 year old Magimix and although its' heart (the motor) was still going, it was time to get a new one. I did not want too many accessories as space is a problem and this one seemed to tick all the boxes. I was just worried that it is a bit too small.
It is actually so easy to operate that if I need to mix up larger quantities I can just do it in two lots. I would have preferred a slightly wider bowl as it would be easier to scrape out the bowl with the spatula provided, but it probably makes for more efficient blending the way it is. I also wonder why the storage box is only big enough to store some of the accessories. These are the only reasons I did not give it 5 stars. The plastic clips which click in and keep the bowl securely fastened whilst liquidising broke off within one year of use.
It wasn't even in daily use. The bowl is manufactured from cheap, brittle plastic. The motor runs fine, but the appliance cannot be used now.
