Great Product
This is a great product, invaluable for gas hobs as it spreads the heat evenly and ensures a more gentle heat across the base of the pot

Worth having.
Definitely a big help to evenly distribute the heat, especially on a gas hob and when making confectionery (fudge, caramel, etc) and you need to cook the item on a very low heat over a long period.

Disappointed
Very disappointing! The handle burnt and came off after a few uses. Do not use on a glass top gas hob - it traps the heat and our glass top shattered.

KitchenCraft Heat Diffuser Simmer Ring with Wooden Handle
It makes cooking very easy as there are no burns on stews and pap. The stews cook slowly without worrying about watching the pot all the time. I have more time to try my hand at other recipes on the gas stove. I recommend it to everyone who has a gas stove.
