Now you can expand your culinary repertoire with a fine shredding drum for hard cheeses, chocolate and nuts; a potato grating blade to grate potatoes or other vegetables such as zucchini and a fine grating drum for extra fine grating of harder ingredients, such as hard cheese, shredding carrots and cabbages for slaw.

Julienne is very fine
I have only used the julienne drum so far, and it needs to be used on quite a high speed to work with carrots. The julienne strips are quite fine. As with all my KitchenAid attachments, the quality of the product is amazing.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
