Gone are the days over exerting oneself to produce super fine mash. This ricer is the bomb! Passes potato through effortlessly and smooth. Pass the potatoes through add milk butter and seasoning and you get perfect mash potato every time! This is a MUST for every kitchen. It is also well priced. You will not be sorry with your purchase!

I love it! I was amazed at how easy it is to use! Very good for making gnocchi and even light fluffy mash.

I am a stickler for finicky things so the only not so great thing I would say is it leaves a bit too much potato in the grooves on the inside after ricing but you can scrape that back in.

I hate mashing potatoes because it's just so difficult to actually get all the lumps out. So I've been threatening to buy a ricer for years. This one is so easy to use. Because of the design, it takes very little effort to use.

Funny enough, I had it for about a month before actually mashing potatoes, but this thing is so versatile. You can use it to squeeze the liquid out of mushrooms. If they're sliced, you can press them fairly hard and they don't push through. Just the liquid. I've used it to press the water out of the spinach. Works so very well.

And I've done various purees and sauces using it. Cooked tomatoes to sauce in seconds and the skins stay behind.
Oh, and it mashes avo like a dream.

Today I finally got to mash some potatoes. The first amazing thing is that you don't even need to peel them. The peel stays behind. You just need to clean the peel out now and then to prevent blockage.

I made black garlic avo mashed potato, and I just threw the cooked garlic, avo and potato in and mashed it in one go.
The result is a smooth mash with zero lumps, and everything is mostly mixed already. All I had to do was give it a little whip. And the result is so much more airy and fluffy.

It's not the biggest ricer, but it's so fast you can rice all your potatoes long before you would have mashed them. Read more

Love the fact that you twist the handles together using both hands as opposed to other designs where you have to squeeze the two handles together.

Definitely worth the wait, this product has changed my life in the kitchen — no more smashing and gnashing. Now I get perfect fluffy mash every time and it's super easy to use and clean.

Cannot recommend a product that broke on first use. The little plastic tabs that allow the two pieces to screw into and hold onto each other are a major design flaw. The whole unit should have been made of stainless steel — to have plastic be the piece to take all the strain is terrible.

I've been looking for the perfect potato ricer and I definitely found it. This Joseph Joseph ricer is great quality, the twist movement works really well. I made the most amazing Gnocchi using it so I can really recommend this product. It's worth it!

I really liked this one, looks like good quality and feels expensive, but it broke in one day. The whole product works off two little plastic notches that take all the pressure, and they've broke off. Maybe my potatoes were too hard but I think this is a flaw in the product.
