This 2-in-1 mini grater and slicer is perfect for grating and slicing smaller foods like garlic, ginger or radishes. The compact mandoline slicer is a great kitchen gadget for adding flavour to your cooking. Grating smaller foods can get a bit fiddly and finger injuries are a common occurrence when doing it by hand, that’s where this handy grater and slicer comes in. It has razor sharp stainless steel blades set on either side of the design for grating and slicing small foods, but with a focus on safety. Handi-Grate features an ergonomic handle, a non-slip tip and a sliding finger-guard on the slicing side for added safety when slicing. This kitchen essential gives you the functionality of a mandoline but at a fraction of the size, letting you compactly store it in your kitchen drawer.

Not what you think
Finger Guard only works on for slicing most people like myself are probably thinking the finger guard is a great idea for grating ginger, garlic, nuts etc. That is not the case you still have to hold the item to grate.
I would not recommend this product to a friend.

Rubbish
Rubbish and overpriced. Doesn’t work like expected, no instructions on pack! Probably for a reason!! Disappointing!!

Does not work the way I expected
The finger guard only works on the slicing side, not the grating side! The sole reason I purchased it was for grating small fiddly things like garlic and ginger with the finger guard. I cannot understand why it is designed this way and I think the description and name is misleading. It's called the handi-'grate' multi-function 'grater', no mention of the primary feature actually only being use Read more
