• Yuppiechef Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
• Yuppiechef Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers cannot be resold to or exchanged with a third party.
• Yuppiechef Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed at Yuppiechef stores or online at Yuppiechef.com

1. Types of Vouchers

1.1. Purchased Vouchers

1.1.1. Gift Cards

“Gift Cards” refer to physical credit card style cards that customers purchase for someone else as a gift. These are available from us in-store and are purchased in fixed, Rand value amounts, e.g. R200 — we activate the card and load a voucher amount (Rand value) onto it.

• Purchases will be deducted from the card amount until the Rand value reaches zero, and no cash change will be given.
• The balance showing on the Yuppiechef system is binding.
• The Gift Card is valid for 36 months from date of purchase.

1.1.2. Gift Vouchers

“Gift Vouchers” refer to electronic vouchers that customers purchase online for someone else as a gift. These are delivered to the recipient as an email or a print-at-home card. These are available from us online, or from an approved payment partner, and are purchased in fixed, Rand value amounts, e.g. R200.

• Purchases will be deducted from the voucher amount until the Rand value reaches zero.
• The balance showing on the Yuppiechef system is binding.
• The Gift Voucher is valid for 36 months from date of purchase

1.2. Promotional and Marketing Vouchers

We have two types of promotional / marketing vouchers:

1. a promotional fixed amount discount, e.g. R100 off (fixed voucher), and
2. a promotional percentage discount, e.g. 10% off (percentage voucher)

2. Voucher Restrictions

• Purchased Vouchers (Gift Cards / Gift Vouchers) cannot be used to purchase another voucher.
• Purchased Vouchers (Gift Cards / Gift Vouchers) cannot be used in conjunction with promotional vouchers.
• Promotional and marketing vouchers may have restrictions on their use, and varying expiration dates, for example:
  • Minimum Spend: R150 off when you spend R500 or more before 20 September 2022
  • Product Category: Limited to purchase of glassware
  • Percentage off: 10% off (limited to a single use)
  • Collection of items: Limited to purchase from the Sale, today only
  • Only 1 marketing voucher may be used per 1 order

5. Refunds on Returns

We cannot refund in cash, purchases made with a marketing or promotional voucher. We will either reinstate the used voucher with a limited extension of the expiration date or issue you with a new one in line with our Returns Policy.
