Every Kitchen should have one of these mats! Probably the most versatile product you'll own!

Not only is it the best non stick mat ever made for baking anything from cookies, savoury pies etc. but I use my mat for rolling out fondant for covering cakes.

No need to use powdered sugar or corn starch which means that fondant doesn't dry out as quickly. Transferring fondant onto a cake is so much easier!

That is the most useful baking tool I have ever owned. No more mess and fuzz with baking paper, and the biscuits come off super easy.
Even useful when warming up a pizza.

For cleaning, just put it in the dishwasher, and it becomes clean and doesn't feel greasy anymore.

What a difference to baking this makes. Non-stick is an understatement! Everything just glides off, even baked potato wedges with all the spices on them. No scrubbing or soaking needed as it all just wipes off. This makes every baking dish a dream!

I am totally satisfied with this product. It's a must for any cake decorator/ baker. It will make many tasks much easier. For fondant, gumpaste and marzipan. Also makes baking a breeze. Only problem is I need more!

Pretty cool. I've used it alongside baking paper to bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies- the cookies on the paper had a more dry texture and softly rounded edges where as the Silpat's was flatter, crispy and crunchy edges. Both very yummy but it's so tedious having to line and prep sheets every time. I plan to buy another medium for my other large cookie sheets.

Absolutely wins, hands down!!! I bake a lot and when I make my seed crackers, nothing works as perfectly as this mat. I should have gotten a slightly smaller one to fit my oven tray, as this one is a little long, but it works, nonetheless.

Great for non-stick. We have used it for meringues and cauli-pizza and it works perfectly and is easy to clean.
I suggest measuring the oven size first to ensure you get the correct size. Ours is too long for our oven, so we need to fold up the sides to put it in the oven.

We love seed crackers but making them in a baking tray is such a mess. You struggle to get the crackers out and end up with mostly bird food and a little bit of crackers. With this silicone baking mat you simple lift your crackers off and they stay perfect in one piece. Easy as that! Cleaning is also so easy as you just easily wipe off the dirt.

It is the first time that I am using the Silpat. It does exactly what the description promises.
I baked pies on it and they were nicely browned and come off the Silpat with no problem at all.
It gets quite oily but a good wash with warm water takes all the oiliness away.
I can't wait to explore all the ways it can be used.

I used this silpat almost daily, I use it to make macaroons, cookies and pretzels. It is really amazing to use, I was hesitant about buying one and tried many other silicone based products, but I eventually succumbed and bought it and I am glad that I did. I have no idea how I managed so long without one of these magical baking mats! Banting seed crackers were my maiden baking voyage and I was beyond amazed. Nothing I have tried up until now would not let the crackers stick - well this mat just peeled off. I am excited to use it for baked veggies, pizza, and almond brittle for the kids!

I bought my first one a couple of months ago and it worked like a dream. My cookie bottoms come out perfectly golden brown every time. Recently bought a second one so that I can bake two trays at the same time. Takes the stress out of baking knowing that you wont have to deal with cookies burnt or stuck to the baking tray. Great buy :)

My daughter gifted me one of these mats. I used it to roll out roti's. It works perfectly. No more creased edges and I use a lot less flour. I also use it when I work with sticky scone dough. Going to order the biggest size too for working with sheets of puff pastry. Wonderful product.

I’m obsessed with the quality of these mats. The only issue I have is that the large sizes are too big for my oven trays and the small is centimeters smaller on both sides- there needs to be an in-between size for those medium-sized ovens for this product to be perfect. And it’s close! I’ve used it for macarons because I was having issues with baking paper that doesn’t sit completely flat (resulting in oddly shaped macaron shells). These silicone mats have given me perfectly round shells. Read more

My daughter bought my first one from Switzerland, and I've treasured it, unfortunately I cut on it with a knife and damaged it.

Now to find that I can buy it at Yuppiechef is wonderful, I am thrilled with it. Nice size, wipes very quickly, and hand out to dry and roll it up ready for next time.

I've only used this a handful of times and have already had to throw it out after 2 months.
I 1st tried it with crumbed fish, but they just at went soggy, not crispy. That wasn't really the issue - the mat probably isn't designed for that.

It stained and marked from 1st use. Looks dreadful with big brown splodges all over it.

But I've had to throw it out as it has literally crumbled. Was rinsing it yesterday and it felt like it had sugar all over it. They were small, clear crystals. On closer inspection it was the coating of the mat. It's the protective silicone (?) that has come out from the little gaps in the weaving of the mat. The weave is now exposed and has a hundreds of little holes/gaps.
Can't really explain, but I definitely do not recommend. Read more
