We use it for a moka pot. So played with the settings till we got the right grind setting and works perfectly. Easy to operate and clean.

I use it for my plunger coffee and DeLonghi Icona Classic Pump 1100W Espresso Machine. The different grinding settings make it possible.

Loving the Delonghi Burr grinder. I've used it for Mokka and for plunger and I have got a good grind for both. It's well packaged and looks good on my counter top. The grind is fairly consistent, although I find the quantity/dose can be a bit varied on occasion. Good value for money.

We had a Bialetti hand grinder but was never able to get the setting correct for the Moka pot. I was sceptical about getting an electronic grinder, but this product has surpassed my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who loves to grind their own beans. It also removes the schlep associated with manual grinding.

Even on the finest grind, the coffee is coarse and inconsistent.

The grind is too rough for espresso, mocha pot or aero press. Regret buying this as it can’t actually be used as a grinder.

Whether grinding coffee for 1 cup or 10 cups... It's a breeze.
I love this coffee grinder. Looks good, compact easy to use and easy to clean.

After grinding my coffee, I use a soft brush to clean out the coffer particles in the grinder and I'm ready for my next coffee grind... I would definitely recommend it.

The DeLonghi burr grinder is well constructed, and does what it is designed to do efficiently. However, there are two things I don't like. Firstly, the ground coffee compartment's lid is such that you are likely to end up spilling ground coffee if you're not careful. Secondly, and worse, it's not possible to pull the compartment out of the grinder if your fingers are the least bit damp, as there is only a narrow lip to grasp, which is frustrating. Read more

The grind quality on this machine is perfect. Bought one for the house because the one used by my brother in law, still works perfectly after many years.

Happy with the grind. I've only used it for course ground coffee though. It's a bit messy. There is a little bit spillage where the ground coffee gets released into the container, but only a tiny amount.

I've had mine for 2 years and it sounds like it's almost done. Works okay but it definitely doesn't grind fine enough for a proper espresso machine. Mine works fine for my Moka pot. Also the grind is uneven, the burrs are plastic so life is limited. Noisy as hell so don't use it in the kitchen early morning!

It is extremely static and makes a huge mess all over the kitchen and therefore causes us to refrain from using it. We have spent a lot of money and are not satisfied with the outcome of the product.

Whilst the grinder has several grind settings, the “finest” grind wouldn’t compare to even a medium or coarse grind on a proper grinder. It’s absolutely useless for espresso...

I removed the coffee grinder from the box full of hope and happiness to find it doesn't work!!! I think it is the on/off switch that is the problem. What is annoying is I live in Hillcrest and I now have to go all the way back to Umhlanga to exchange it.

Neither Delonghi nor Yuppiechef can make a plan for me to exchange it in Hillcrest or somewhere nearby where they stock Delonghi products. What a waste of time and energy, not sure I want another one.

Update: I was super impressed by Yuppiechef who responded timeously to my complaint. They arranged for the item to be collected from my home and the money to be refunded within a week.
