This black plastic and glass mill works perfectly for dried herbs and spices. The ceramic grinder is placed on the up side, so it doesn't leave dust on the table, and the glass bottom makes it easy to see which spice or herb is inside the jar.

About CrushGrind

Based on the principles of the old mortar, CrushGrind was developed to be more than just a pepper mill – established to create a better grinder than any available on the market. With the aim of enabling consumers to grind all sorts of dried herbs and spices, they evolved the traditional pepper mills to one which releases the essential oils from spices to derive the full aroma.

We are using it on a fairly fine-ish grind and it works beautifully. Also holds a full peppercorn refill. Very happy with the product.

These will more than likely be the last salt and pepper grinders I will need in the next 25 years. (Sold as single units, to be clear).

The upright design is also great. Makes me wonder why other grinder designs prefer facing down. This grinder does not leave a mess.

Adjustable grind size, no mess, easy to clean and refill. Well priced.

I give this 5 stars, just because I cannot give it 50. This is the peppergrinder to buy.

It has ceramic parts, which stay effective throughout and don't get blunt, and you can set it to grind at different coarseness levels.

It works extremely well, and it does so every single time.

Excellent quality grinder, does a good job, but also love that the grinder is at the top of the container. Most grinders are at the bottom, and leave salt/pepper remnants on your shelf. This one doesn't, nice and neat, looks elegant.

The coarseness adjustment has set increments where the mechanism clicks into place which means that once you've found the perfect size it's easy to set it like that again. Bought it because of the 25 year warranty which really means they believe the ceramic mechanism will last.
