Did you know each type of meat has a perfectly-cooked temperature? Take the guess work out of cooking outdoors, and make sure yours is done perfectly. Just poke the spike into the thickest part of the meat, and when the dial reaches the corresponding part of the thermometer, you're good to go.
- Guarantees perfectly cooked chicken, beef, pork and lamb every time
- Lets you know when meat as reached its ideal internal temperature
- To use, remove cooked or cooking meat from the Cobb Cooking System, and insert to get a reading. If more time is needed, remove the thermometer, and place the meat back into the cooker

I found the accurate calibration of this thermometer unreliable. It indicated our steak wasn't cooked as the needle hardly moved and the steak was medium when cut.
In a whole chicken, however, it was accurate. Not sure if the meat needs to be thick for more accurate readings.

Having started the YuppieChef Mastering Meat course, I noticed that the temperature markings & course info didn't match up. The Thermometer has a higher temp reading for each level of "doneness" (71ºC vs 60ºC for Medium Beef respectfully). Having said that the meat thermometer does work and it's simple to use.

No more pesky Fahrenheit temperatures that you have to google to know if the meat is ready or under or over. This not only has Celsius AND Fahrenheit temperatures but it also has a handy guide of what meats you are cooking!
