Small, light and consistently accurate.
I love the conversion options for those recipes in Ounces and even solid to fluid conversions.
The top is glass so scratches and chips are a possibility with improper care but worth it for the look and the price.

This item does what it says on the book, it weighs stuff. And you can tare out weights pretty easily.

I can imagine that I will outgrow its simplicity once I advance my baking requirements, but for the time being it is perfect. It is small and sleek. It also looks good in the kitchen to boot.

User friendly and effective.

What more can you ask for? Max weight it can process is 500g but ideal for weighing small items.

My wife is excited to use it for cooking purposes. she enjoys that it can also handle Oz measurements (which a lot of recipes insist on using).

You can't go wrong with this purchase. Good quality and real value for money.

Very nice in that it measures in different units. Wish it was a little bit bigger. Only problem I have is that the battery keeps falling out. All in all a good buy for the price.

Bought this scale as a gift and lasted 6 months. Yuppiechef was replaced free of charge and after 4 months the 2nd one is also faulty.

- The battery compartment broken on both
- The scale starts giving wrong readings
- it doesn't want to zero (tare)

Will NOT recommend this product and CASA need to improve its quality.

Half the character lettering in the LCD panel has disappeared, making it impossible to weigh anything. No amount of fiddling with it or resetting it has helped. I haven't dropped it, it just decided that's it. Buy cheap, get cheap I suppose.

It was great while it lasted but that's just it. After about a year of having this it seemed to develop some scale around the batteries and has now completely died. Wouldn't recommend this product just in case.

This scale is terrible. The reset/zero weight button never works on the first push, it takes several pushes until it resets, sometimes just switches off instead of zero-ing and then needs to be turned back on.

When restarting the units are randomly selected and don't default to grams. The worst scale I've ever used.

I was so excited to take the scale out of the box and it definitely looked the part.

I connected the battery and that is where the magic ended. The scale keeps resetting while I was measuring, resulting in miscalculation of ingredients. I tried again the following morning it just kept switching on and off then it dead.

The scale was a real disappointment, not worth making the purchase.

Firstly, the battery falls out. I had to put tape on the battery cover. Secondly, you aren't quite sure if it is on, as it takes a while to register (so you may be switching on and off and on again a few times before you see it is on). At times it works perfectly and at other times when adding more product to get to the perfect weight it goes back to '0'. So annoyed with the thing.
