I bought a plastic Mouli, the original, thinking that when it broke I would buy a metal one. Nearly 25 years on, it finally broke and Moulinex no longer makes them, so I am giving this one a try.

To those who say it doesn’t work – ignore the packaging. It is all wrong.

I am a gadget lover and must have everything that opens and shuts in the kitchen. I bought this for all our pasta parties and it was a huge hit. It works perfectly. If there is a very big piece of cheese then ladies with small hands struggle a little to hold it but otherwise it is a must have! Perfect Parmesan every time!

A brilliant little grater for parmesan cheese. (Also good for left handers as the handle can be placed on either side of the central grater section.) It reminds me of the grater we had when I was little.

The only thing wrong with this grater is that I didn't get one sooner. I have, in the past, avoided recipes involving grated Parmesan, as it's such a pain to do. This won't happen again. The process is absolutely effortless now. One caveat, though: the grater feels a bit lightweight - how durable it is, remains to be seen...

The first time using the grater and the plastic rings broke which created a metal against metal grinding motion and sensation.

It also made it super difficult to turn, not a great user experience at all.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

Disappointed with the product. Not very easy to handle. The little plastic protectors have come off on the grater wheel. Not sure if this is what’s supposed to happen and if it can be used like this, it is difficult to re-attach them. Thought Boska products were good quality.

My grater broke soon after purchasing it. The plastic strips were the first to come off and then the grater broke beyond repair.

Sometimes you just have to go back to the kitchen tools you used a long time ago. This is superior to all the other graters that have come along since then. So glad I came to my senses... parmesan comes out in fine strands, chocolate is also easy to grate. Happy. So are my knuckles!

It's not a great design. Spits the cheese out when it gets a bit too thin. Tolerances way too high.

For the price I would at least expect this product to have some kind of a gripping surface to hold on to. Very hard to use, not worth the price tag at all.
