• Place the scale on a smooth, flat, hard surface such as tiles or wooden flooring
• Avoid using the scale on carpets or uneven surfaces
• Stand still while the scale is taking readings

For best results:

• Weigh yourself at the same time each day, preferably in the morning
• Measure after using the toilet, before eating and without clothing
• Use the body analysis function barefoot and stand on the scale's electrodes
• Slightly damp soles may improve measurement accuracy
• Keep your feet, legs and thighs from touching each other during measurement
• Wait several hours after strenuous exercise before measuring
• Wait approximately 15 minutes after getting out of bed before weighing yourself
