Care instructions
- Before first use, wash with warm water and a mild detergent
- This product is dishwasher safe but we recommend hand washing with warm water, a mild detergent and a cloth or non-abrasive sponge
- After drying your cookware thoroughly, using a paper towel, wipe the interior with a thin layer of cooking oil before storing
- Using high heat suitable fats and oils will prolong the life of your cookware
- Avoid using cold-pressed oils like olive oil, diet fats and diet margarine
- Don't overheat your cookware for prolonged periods of time as the oil or fat will burn and leave a black residue which could damage the non-stick coating
- To prevent scratching, don’t use metal utensils or knives in your AMT Gastroguss cookware
- Don’t slide your cookware over your stove range
- After use, the surface might change to a light brown colour — this is normal and shouldn't be removed with steel wool or scouring agent

The perfect saucepan
I use this pot for everything — boiling pasta or making pasta sauce, soups, casseroles and stews. I love that its handles stick out far enough that they stay cool when cooking on gas. The non-stick surface is fabulously robust.
Single drawback would be lack of a lid — but standard sizing means it happily wears the lid from an old discarded pot.

Awesome pot!
I was rather concerned about spending so much on a pot but I am super super pleased that I did. I love this pot – it is a great size so one can cook a large quantity. The handles stay cool so makes it easy to remove from the stove without the use of pot holders. It is so easy to clean too. Even though it is a large pot it is not heavy to lift. Best product ever
I cook and cater a lot, I have used AMC, Bauer, and Le Creuset pots and casserole dishes. This range is strong, non-stick, and not heavy. The coating also does not come off and the handles stay cold. Good value for money.

Worth every rand
This pot feels extremely strong and durable, as in, it will be the pot my unborn grandkids will fight over to inherit someday. When it reaches a proper heat, it maintains that heat when you add your ingredients. Easy to clean, not too heavy. I will definitely buy their other products. If you need more convincing, check out their "Gastroguss tank in snow" youtube video.
