Different blends of tea require different temperatures, and the variable temperature version allows you to choose from a number of temperature between 50°C to 100°C to customize the water temperature. You can also boil water to the perfect temperature for your coffee, preventing your fresh grounds from burning.

Excellent quality kettle!
I nervously bought this as a gift for my husband who wanted a variable temperature kettle for coffee. I used to think that Smeg was really overpriced BUT we've loved this kettle so far! This product is amazing!!!
Absolutely love it! The variable temperature settings are perfect for different hot beverages. Sturdy kettle. I also like that it beeps at the end of a cycle. Ooh, and it looks stunning on my countertop �?

Aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Absolutely loving my new purchase. The pastel blue is such a beaut, a very subtle shade. Blends very well with my white and shades of blues kitchen.

Waste of money
I was obsessed with Smeg appliances until I started paying the price with my hard-earned money and only experiencing problems. Thank goodness I kept my slips to be able to benefit from the guarantee. Blender to kettle to toaster, everything has been in for repairs within 10 months of purchase. Don't waste your money, and if you insist, keep your slip safe, because you will need it.
