The KitchenAid Food Grinder Attachment is used in conjunction with your Stand Mixer for mincing and grinding meat, fish, vegetables, dried bread, nuts, firm-fleshed fruits as well as cheese. Meat should be very cold, even partially frozen, for best processing results.

A great addition to my kitchen!
There can be nothing better than grinding your own meat and using a product you can trust to have no additives to make your own meat balls. I am so impressed by my artisan stand mixer and I can tell you that it is easy to use and the attachments are easy to clean. Great addition to the KitchenAid mixer
Works very well mincing meat - just ensure that the attachments are cleaned very well - food tends to stick into crevices.

Very Average
This product claims to be an efficient meat grinder. As a primary grind, only use the coarse disk. The auger that feeds the grinder does not work well, and the plunger used to force the meat down the auger is too small and entirely ineffective. This is a very average product and for the way it actually performs, entirely overpriced. Get a manual grinder instead!!!

Best Buy Ever!
Best buy ever! No more running around for fresh mince. I can now make my own mince anytime I want and how much I want. So easy to use and clean. Money well spent!
