It works but not for me.
Maybe it's me, but I find it difficult to use the mandoline — I'm scared all the time that my fingers may get in the way, — especially when slicing/grating more sturdy vegetables. Hence, the mandoline is very seldom put to use. Reason may be that I'm more into chopping veg than grating...
I would recommend this product to a friend.
