There are some foods that don't benefit from refrigeration, but prefer that 'cool dark place' that all the labels speak about. Onions and potatoes, for example, are much better suited to storage in the pantry, but do not benefit from too much light (or they deteriorate more quickly). These hessian bags are designed to be a dark, breathable place to store onions and potatoes.

It's so full of layers
It brings tears to our eyes to see our onions so safe, we have not seen one onion running away, or have a single onion kidnapped since we started keeping them in the Kitchen Kraft Natural Element Hessian Preserving Bag. Great idea
I like the potato bag, however not happy that it cannot be washed. Instructions says wipe clean. Inevitable to have a rotten potato at some point. How do I get it clean?

Excellent product
I first ordered the onion bag. It worked so well that I then ordered the potato bag. I was overseas for a month and my onions were still fresh on my return. Amazing product! I am ordering an extra set to take overseas to my sister in law!

Magic in a bag
What can I say its truly magic in a bag... I've always had a problem storing my potatoes, they either begin to sprout or turn green. I was skeptical at first when I received my bag, but now I'm totally chuffed. The bag is great looking, love the draw string detail. Lovely addition to my kitchen. Will be buying the onion one next.
