Care instructions
- Remove and clean the lid, carbon filter and filter tray, removing any hair or debris
- Remove and clean the water pump filter assembly, water pump filter cover and magnetic levitation fan blades, removing any hair or debris
- Clean inside the water tank and dry off the outside of the tank
- Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the spring pin of the lid and the conductive column of the base respectively, to keep the spring pin and the conductive column dry and clean
- After cleaning, reassemble in reverse order to remove and check whether all components are properly installed
Suitable for: cats and small to medium-sized dogs
- Not recommended for young pets aged under three months or large-sized dogs
- The fountain is suitable for adult dogs with a shoulder height of up to 40cm
- It is recommended to clean the fountain at least once a week (including the water tank, lid, filter tray, water pump and water pump filter sponge) and change all water to prevent sediment build-up in the filter and avoid degrading water quality and flow
- Due to high humidity in spring and summer, you should clean your water tank, lid, filter slot, water pump filter sponge, water pump and other components at least once a week to prevent mosquito breeding
- Actual water requirements may differ due to objective environments, pet breed, age, health status and behavioural habits

Perfect in every way.
After having my cats reject the last fountain as too noisy, I was loathing to buy another without having first-hand knowledge of the product.
I was (and still am) thrilled to bits when my cats took to the Xiaomi immediately!

Easy to clean.
I loved this fountain when it came out. My stray rescue wouldn’t drink from the conventional type.
Of the 5 I own, only three work …As it is a closed unit you will still need a bowl of water available during load shedding unless you have solar.
Would like to know who the repair agents are in Durban!

Very happy with this fountain!
I love this fountain. It has a large tank, it's easy to clean and the filters are effective at keeping hair out of the fountain. My only complaint is that it's difficult to get the water flowing once it's been cleaned — I suspect that it doesn't immediately detect that the cover is on.

It is amazing but does not last
It's a very good concept and works great and my dog loved it. The problem is, it doesn't last — after 7 months of use the water pump failed — even when using filtered clean water in the unit. This is the second Xiaomi product that has failed.
