This machine-made Champagne glass is part of Riedel's technologically advanced Performance glassware collection — the ultimate loudspeaker for fine wine. This glass allows Champagne to unfold. The larger rim diameter enables the aromas of Champagne to be released, in a way which is not achieved when using a narrow flute. The glass also includes a 'sparkling point' to aid the formation of the Champagne bubbles. Performance is the first Riedel wine glass series ever to feature bowls with a light optic impact, which not only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl, but also increases the inner surface area.

The best bubbly glass ever!
Had a difficult time deciding between the Riedel Vinum and Performance Champagne glasses. I was scared that the optic impact would take away from the elegance of the glass, but in fact, it is really beautiful and only visible if the glass is held against the light. All MCC tastes better in this glass as you get the added benefit — the sense of aroma. Worth every cent!
I would recommend this product to a friend.
