Lovely, comfortable grip and the blade just glides over the vegetables. I wasn't sure about the swivel blade when I purchased it, but it really works so well.

This is really an awesome peeler! It doesn't peel away too much of the flesh. Blades are very sharp. It's sturdy and has a good grip. It makes great veggie ribbons.

The blade on the peeler is very sharp and peels everything quickly and easily. The only negative is that the handle is quite thick and bulky which, if you have small hands like me, it does feel a bit awkward.

I love OXO Good Grips products. Such a positive hand-feel, easy to hold. I have weak hands so it's perfect for me, but the abler-handed folk in my household also really prefer this large grip.

My mom, who is a chef, visited me once and we were preparing dinner. She was trying to peel potatoes with my substandard peeler and growing more and more frustrated. Eventually, she switched to a knife. "You need an OXO potato peeler," she announced, and promptly went out and bought me one the following day.

My life did a 180° turnaround in the peeling department after that. Much to my horror, I accidentally threw it in the dustbin one day while discarding peelings, and didn't realise — I hunted the kitchen high and low and mourned for an hour.
