I don't know the brand, but that shouldn't speak to the quality of this peeler. It's sharp. At first I thought the swivel was a gimmick, but it's actually quite awesome, and necessary.
Good purchase.

This is really an awesome peeler! It doesn't peel away too much of the flesh. Blades are very sharp. It's sturdy and has a good grip. It makes great veggie ribbons.

The blade on the peeler is very sharp and peels everything quickly and easily. The only negative is that the handle is quite thick and bulky which, if you have small hands like me, it does feel a bit awkward.
