Hosting a high-end dinner? The Ansela van de Caab from Muratie Wine Estate is the ideal wine to savour with fine food. This beautifully balanced Bordeaux-style red blend is named after a young lady, Ansela, who was born into slavery in the Cape. On her release in 1695, her love interest, Laurens Campher, brought her and their three children home to Muratie. Today, this award-winning wine celebrates the coming together of this early Cape family and gives a nod to patience and persistence.
