Thie egg slicer and wedger is the perfect tool for preparing eggs to add to salads. The moulded base tray holds the egg in place whilst a choice of two hinged tops with stainless steel wires folds down, cutting the egg as required. It's also a suitable tool for slicing mushrooms.

This egg slicer is not dishwasher safe. The silver coating does not survive in the dishwasher and sometimes the slicer gets stuck when pressing down.

I initially was very happy with this. However the cutting strings got very loose over time and it doesn’t work very well. I will need to replace after less than a year which is disappointing as I thought it would last longer for the price.
