Just be careful not to get the unit wet when cleaning it.

Mine had developed some rust on the internal contact from water getting in, and that needed to be cleaned.

First sealer did not unlock after sealing. I returned the unit and took a replacement unit. This one only "sealed" one in every 10 attempts. I will be returning it for a refund.

Furthermore when waiting for the exchange I browsed the "almost good as new" items at reduced prices. There were two of this exact model, so it seems I am not the only one to have returned this item.

Very good function for both vacuum and seal. I am really impressed. Only slight issue is a bit hard to open on some occasions.

My first one broke after one week. It sealed maybe 10 packets then a strong electronic smell and smoke came out of it. Sent it back to Yuppichep and they repaired it. Upon its return, it only lasted about a month.

Sealed about 50x packets. Same problem, electronic smoke and burning smell and it's dead.

Hopefully this time Yuppichef can provide me with credit.

I have returned my machine twice for repairs after minimum use. I will now have to send it back for a third time.

I've only sealed about 20 bags in the last two years since buying the vacuum sealer. Now It can only seal one bag at a time before it overheats — the vacuum pump slows down, and eventually stops with the light just flashing. I know it's out of warranty, but 20 bags in two years? What a piece of junk they're selling — unacceptable!

Our sealer died in less than 2 years after almost no use. And with a 1-year warranty — I am definitely not happy with this product. Buyer's beware.

My Magic Vac is about 18 to 20 months old — hubby gave it to me to replace my very old, much cheaper make that still worked but wasnt great any longer. It was about 15 years old. The sealing function of my MagicVac started going on & off and now this evening it has stopped working altogether. Not a happy customer.
