Stove Top Waffle Maker

I love the Belgian waffle maker. I have had great batches made with differing recipes. It is easy to clean and easy to store.

We were pleasantly surprised to use this stove top waffle maker and find it delivered great waffles. It is much easier to wash and store than it’s electric counterpart and produces nice sized thickish waffles. We still need to find a winning recipe, but no one's complaining about testing waffles!

This product is more expensive than the electric waffle irons but I see it as an investment. I think it will last longer than the electric makers. Waffles came out amazing the first time - golden crispy and fluffy at the same time. A stove top waffle maker sounds extremely manual... there is a bit of work for you to do but all worth it after 2 mins of cooking on each side. The product doesn't come with any instructions or recipes - I googled both and everything worked out perfectly. Read more

I received this and immediately made some waffles (for the first time in my life) - I just googled a recipe and chose what looked like the easiest. Unfortunately it doesn't come with an instruction manual or a recipe book (maybe something to look into?). My very first waffle came out perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft, fluffy and light on the inside. I didn't want another electrical appliance and thought it would be a good idea for the next electricity blackout run (I refuse to call it 'load-shedding'). This is such a handy little waffle iron.
It works perfectly - wonderful to quickly whip up some waffles for breakfast, etc.

We've wanted a Belgian waffle maker for years but always been put off the price. Since buying this waffle maker a few months ago we haven't looked back. We've made both the heavy, sugar-encrusted Liege waffles and lighter Gent ones that are delicious dusted with icing sugar and served with fresh sliced strawberries, both with great success. A light brushing of oil (especially along the middle dividing strip) before dropping the batter in is our one tip — before we did that they were tending to stick a little. A really great value purchase we'd recommend for anyone who prefers more authentic Belgian-style waffles. Read more
