Worth getting one size bigger than you think you need.

This product does exactly what it says on the label! I have purchased mine to keep my sourdough starter in and even though I don't require the full 1.5 litres I think it was worth getting the slightly larger jar. The label is a nice touch and the seal works really well. I battled a bit at first to get the locking mechanism to work.

A very useful Preserving Jar

I like to make my own preserves and jams, and very often just use old jars and bottles that have been left over, but I thought I would treat myself to one of these Kitchen Craft Jars for special occasions.
It is a very handy size and is made of nice thick glass, I was sightly disappointed as the picture makes it look like the word HOMEMADE is etched onto the glass, it was not etched on my jar, and the metal clip fastener does not feel as strong and durable as some of my other preserving jars, a bit flimsy in fact, but time will tell about this.
Aside from those niggles, the jar does what it says it does, it is a great preserving jar in a nice size and will be very handy in my kitchen. Read more

Love these jars

The jar is a nice size, and I just love the look of it. I'm using it to store dry ingredients. The reason I am only giving it 4/5 is because the mechanism that locks it is a little wonky.

These glass jars are perfect for storing home-made goodies like salted caramel (yum!). Also great for vanilla sugar and other dry ingredients! Must have in any baker's kitchen.
