Considering that you can make almost anything in an Instant Pot Duo Smart Cooker, having a spare inner pot is very useful. This heavy gauge ceramic non-stick cooking pot comes in handy when you need to prepare an accompaniment dish to the main meal you are cooking in your Instant Pot. It heats evenly and efficiently, and is coated with a thick ceramic non-stick coating. This coating is free from PTFE, PFOA and other harmful chemicals found in other plastic coated non-stick inner pots. At the end of cooking it washes up easily by hand or can be placed in the dishwasher.

When I initially bought this I though that it was the pot in a pot for my instant pot, so I wrongly thought that it was a pot I could use as a bain marie to cook rice with a stew...

It's not, it is a non-stick inner pot to use instead of your stainless steel inner you got when you bought your IP, a nice to have rather than a have to have.

Very useful non-stick inner pot to use when slow cooking or just sautéing. Together with the glass lid makes slow cooking easy and you can see what's going on!

This ceramic inner pot is a great addition to the collection. I prefer using it to the original inner pot. It doesn't burn food as easily on the saute function and is super easy to clean.

My instant pot came with a bowl that consistently showed “food burn” and would stop cooking. However, with this non-stick inner pot, I don’t have that issue any longer and I can switch between the pots inner pots when cooking more than one hot meal. I purchased the non-stick inner pot as a back-up to the inner that comes with the Instant Pot, but I soon realised this is SO much better! No more stuck bits of food that result in the ominous "BURN" notice flashing on your Instant Pot read out, resulting in you having to release pressure, stir, and begin the process again!
I am very happy with this purchase.

I used the pot once and cannot get it clean. The food did not burn, after washing it 3 times and soaking it, there's still a ring of food. This is not like my other non-stick pot. Very disappointed!
