Original Cinnamon Rolls Baking Kit

This makes the very nicest rolls and we were very impressed. One bit of feedback is that the requirement for 250ml butter is excessive. I used, at the absolute maximum, around 170-180mls total and that was amply sufficient. Butter is pricey, so it's worth noting.

It was a bit fiddly to get the mixture, leaving, rising, rolling etc all correct - but worth the effort in the end. They were delicious.

The buns were a bit stodgy, could be because of the yeast that needed to be added, maybe you could pop a packet of yeast in the box, but I added some raisins and they were quite delish.

The product is a great offering for those who want to try something new. The taste was great ultimately but the instructions on the box leave a lot to be desired. As a beginner it was very frustrating to have such vague instructions. Also note that icing sugar is not included in the box, I think this would really have been valuable to top it off at the end to serve.

I have given this 4 stars because the instructions could be improved upon. I rolled my dough the wrong way and my cinnamon buns looked more like danish pastries. The taste was great though. I will definitely try this product again.

Probably did not understand the instructions, or made a basic error, as it was the first time ever baking cinnamon rolls.

Rolls were hard as rusks, took it out 4 minutes earlier than the baking time stated. Maybe should have baked it in a smaller tray, stacked close to one another?

Nobody's fault, probably my own ignorance.

Delicious! I followed the icing recommendation on the side of the box for the cream cheese frosting and it was a hit.

The baking instructions were a little unclear on oven temperature (I baked at 180C for 15 minutes) and the dish size (I used a 30cm X 40cm) pan.

Will be back to make more ... soon!

These cinnamon rolls taste great. Only issue is the instructions are not the clearest and no baking temp but can figure it out. Also freezes very well.

Not really a kit. I bought it out of curiosity as I have made cinnamon rolls previously. In the box you get : 1. Flour; 2. Sachet of instant yeast; Packet of brown sugar with cinnamon added. The real task is to be able to put this all together, from mixing, kneading, rising etc.. So in summary, there is no benefit from this kit, other than that the dry ingredients are packaged in a box. An enhancement could be to also supply a pack of raisins in the box, as well as icing sugar to make frosting. Read more
