Where to get speciality ingredients in Johannesburg (not thrupps)

Does anyone know where one could buy specialty ingredients in Johannesburg like, maltodextrin, dextrose, praline paste, pistachio paste etc?

If this falls on the ears of the powers that be at yuppie chef, i would like to suggest that yuppie chef gets into the business of supplying specialty ingredients for serious cooks.

I.e. you sell many magimix ice cream machine, but there is nowhere to get specialty products to assist in making the best possible ice cream, such as stabilisers, maltodextrin, dextrose, cocoa butter etc.

Or molecular gastronomy ingredients for spherification, tapioca maltodextrin for making powders etc.

I really think this could be a massive market for yuppy chef, and none of these items are perishable.

Let me know your thoughts.

Hey Jared, we do have some molecular gastronomy products over here: http://www.yuppiechef.com/texturas.htm Thanks for the comments and suggestions, I'll pass them on to our merchandising team and let you know if anything new comes up!

I don't know about the rest of the ingredients, but I know you can buy cocoa butter from Geldhof Chocolatier, as well as compound and couverture chocolate by the kilogram
